Brief Description:  Riveting the starboard wing lower skins

It was a productive day today. I spent 5.5 hours riveting the starboard lower skins on. I followed the instructions as per the manual. I clecoed each rivet hole in the rear spar, removing one cleco at a time and riveting, after I'd riveted roughly half the length of the rear spar on the skin panel I started riveting the ribs, working my way forwards toward the main spar. I used two clecoes on each rib in consecutive holes and leapfrogged them over one another, one hole at a time and riveted one hole at a time as I moved the clecos along the ribs.

Because I have hands like shovels, the inner four (wing walk) ribs were difficult, because they are just too close together, but once I was far enough forward and I could use the larger lightening holes things were easier. The other ribs being further out and having a lot more space around them are nice and easy.

My slow method of riveting might have been overkill, but I am happy with the results thus far. Tomorrow should see the riveting finished.
