Brief Description: Left aileron.
|

Today I fiinished riveting the left aileron together, I attached the aileron mounts, torqued the bolts, and nuts. I ended up using CS4-4 pop rivets for the trailing two rivet holes on the under sufrace, and the trailing rivet hole on the top surface, because I couldn't get in there properly to work the rivets, with a bucking bar. Whilst riveting the lower rivets holes, I laid the aileron flat on my garage floor, and weighed it down, checking all the itme to see if a twist or bending was developing during the riveting process. Thankfully it stayed straight. All done, on to the right aileron.
