Tom's Mustang II
This is my third attempt at building an experimental. I started with a Safari Helicopter. Prior to completing it, while running the engine I rolled it over. After an extensive rebuild by the factory and many $$ poured into the project I traded it for a PT-19 which was later sold to a gentlemen in Brazil. My next project was a helicycle, despite the families protest (I guess they didn't want to see me roll it over again,)I began this project and less than four months after buying it someone offered me about 50% more than I paid for it so I sold it as I had two in College. I have one more that will be going to college in two years and I hope to have this complete by then. The Mustang II was 50% complete with 90% left to go. I purchased an "overhauled" engine which I decided to take apart and have a look at. Good thing I did. After about $4000 of parts I have it where I think it's a decent engine.
