My RV-8 Project
Welcome to my RV8 build log. My RV journey started a decade ago when a great guy named Bobby convinced me that I could build an airplane. That was an RV4 and while the wings and empennage are sitting here in my basement, I decided to switch horses in May of 2012. I purchased a kit that had already been started and was right around the quick build stage. Since then it has been a steady sprint to get this project in the air. On Sept 11, 2013 our daughter Taylor arrived! Little Taylor really wants daddy to finish his plane, so while my build time is nothing like what it was pre-fatherhood..I find that when I'm at the hangar I get more done per minute because those minutes mean more now.
