While reviewing the build videos for engine mounting I realized that the front engine pulley bolts are not final installed by the factory as they assume you will remove it for painting. Since I chose not to paint the gear box I had only checked these bolts for torque but had not removed them to realize that they were not loctited. So, tonight I removed each of the pulley bolts, applied loctite and torqued to 15 ft/lb per the instructions then applied torque seal to the 6 bolts. Applied loctite to the two small screws that attach the clutch micro switch plate to the clutch actuator and added torque seal to the screw heads. |
