Brief Description:	Backup battery
Fabricated and mounted a 5" x 4" aluminum plate between the instrument pod frame rails. Drilled holes in the plate for securing the backup battery with a zip tie and also mounted an 8 port terminal block to the back edge of the plate to serve as a connection point for grounding, main and backup buses. Made up a jumper containing a diode and two resistors totaling 680 Ohms which will connect the main power bus to the backup bus on the terminal strip to trickle charge the small backup battery.
