Flap fairing and aileron edge alignment |
|
|
After reading a number of entries online and getting some sleep I tried to tackel the flap fairing edge again. (When I aligned the aileraon to the neuteral position It seamed the flap sat too low to align the flap fairing) I put the aileron push rods back to the original alignment and took in some of the distance on the horizontal aileron pushrods. ( the big pushrods that attach to the control yoke.) This did the trick. I adjusted the flap motor pushrods and blocked the control stick to center. Aligned the edges and everything came together. ( I checked my up angles for the ailerons. Left 32/18 and Right 32/17 both within the aileron travel specifications) I still have a small trop in flaps but from everything I've read a little bend will remove most of the issue. Flap fairing now lines up nicely. I guess this is one of those testimones to sleeping on the problem, |
