I spent the evening adjusting aileron push rods and the flap motor/push rods to get the flaps to fit under the fuselage better. After reviewing online entries I see that this is a very common issue. Most everyone has added a slight bend to the inside flap edge to get it to nest under the fuselage. I made little to no progress, after two hours I measured the aileron angles and found I had lost too much down angle. So I closed it down for the night.
