Project relocation from Las Vegas home to Hangar |
|

Andy Lodewyck, Mark McCallister, and James Beck ---Great to have good people around who won't let you make a mistake. This was one of the more stressful points of the project. Transporting the fuelage from our Las Vegas home to the hangar in Cal-Nev-Ari. While I thought this would be a one or two man event, it turned out that all 4 of us partisipated in moving the plane onto the trailer and securing the plane to the trailer in a way it could make the 75 mile journey from Sumerlin to Cal-Nev-Ari. All three of these guys are professionals in their field of fabrication and installation of large structural steel in unique applications and they did not let me make a mistake. I handed them the tools and they secured the plane. I came back with an enclosed trailer to move the other parts and wings which were in the cradle. 8'-4" from outside edge of horizontal stabilizer edge to edge. |
