Design and fabricate a custom control grip |
|
|
Previously I had spent a couple hours designing a custom grip in Corel draw. I wanted a grip that had the trim hat switch and at the very lease a radio switch. I glued a couple blocks of foam together and set them out to dry. Today I began the process of cutting and carving the blocks into a custom control grip. 4 hours of sculpturing and sanding. But one of the blocks I had previously glued into place snapped and I had to cut both sides and re-glue the blocks together, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to finish up the scullpturing. (I'm still waiting for the switches from Van's to fit them into the grip |
