Spent 4 hours today looking for my fluting pliers. I never did find them. I finally made a pair by welding 3 pieces of 3/8" long finish nail to the jaws of a pair of pliers. I also ordered a new pair from aircraft spruce. Used the homemade pliers to straighten the 5 ribs used in the tail section. Attached the ribs to the horizontal and vertical stabilizers. |
