Drilled snorkel base flange; I made sure that the snorkel clears the starter motor mounting ears, etc. It doesn't fit all that well on filter end ... Looks like I'll be building a franken snorkel. Started by building a form for a glass flange for the filter, rather than using the aluminum bendies provied by Vans.
