Worked on the inlet ramps. Bent them the wrong way the first time and had to rebend them. Fabricated part 13. Trimmed the #2 ramp to match the cowl inlet, the #10 ramp fit pretty well without trimming. Realized that I do not have the parts for the oil cooler modification for the rear baffle. I will have to order it from Vans. Dick Isherwood stopped by. We cannot figure out why the an4-15 bolt is used for the rear bulkhead attachement to the rear of the engine. It seems way too long. I also discovered that I don't seem to have a necessary screw for the right rear bulkhead. It is the same screw that is used for the left front inlet piece. I am tired. It seems that what I have described above is little to show for 8 hours of work. |
