Brief Description:	continued work on cowl mounting strips
Making substantial progress on understanding the mounting strip for the cowl. The distance of 3 1/8 inches seems to work all around the cowling. I installed the side strips and bottom strips that I had fabricated last year. I removed all markings from them in order to start new with 3 1/8 interval markings. If you try to use a distance of 3 1/2 inches between mounting points, the engine mount interferes and requires that there be a space of over 4 inches, closer to 4 1/2 inches in that area.
