More prep on the right wing skeleton. |

|
Today I finished deburring the right wing skeleton. I then reinstalled the first two skins and drilled holes in the spar where I had forgotten to drill holes. The next step was to secure the wiring conduit in two more spots. So I took a piece of scrap AL and match-drilled it from the skins and installed it on the ribs; this is so the ribs were in their proper place when I installed the clamp. I then installed a hose clamp to the conduit and drilled it to the rib stiffener on two ribs. This made the conduit much more sturdy and wouldn't vibrate against the ribs. Finally, I got most of the #40 holes dimpled using the pheumatic squeezer. I have a couple left to dimple via bucking bar and then the #30 holes. |
