Cabin work and fiberglass |

Lots of little projects as I get closer to working on the canopy. There were four tooling holes in the cabin frame I decided to fill. Not required, but it makes the frame look a tad bit nicer. I filled them yesterday, so today was sanding and priming. The photos make the primer look splotchy. Not sure way, it must be the lighting. I have been sanding the elevator and HS tips. I sand a little bit every few days. That way the sanding process does not be come overwhelming. There were several pin holes that needed to be filled so yesterday I filled. Today I sanded and filled in some more. I believe tomorrow I will have a near finished product. I need to order UV smooth prime so I can prime those parts. The rest of the day was spent fabricating several small parts required for the structure forward of the instrument panel. |
