After getting the fairing about how I wanted it, I pulled it off and put release tape on the bottom, I did not want any epoxy dripping through onto the fuselage. I also covered the inside of the tail with plastic to make sure nothing got covered in epoxy. I remounted the fairing and then spent several minutes moving it around on the release tape on the bottom. I tried to get as much pressure and twist out of the fairing. Ultimately I would like the fairing to set flat against all surfaces without having a cleco or screw hold it in place. I might not get there, but that is my goal. When I thought I had it where I wanted I layed up several 1" strips of fiberglass tape (10% I think.) When it curese the fairing should hold its shape well enough that I can do a couple of layups on the bottom side. After everything cures, I will sand, sand and sand some more and then check the fit. I think this is going to be a several hour process
