More air vent work |

To add some form of symmetry to the cockpit foot wells, I fashioned a matching aluminium piece to mirror the current eyeball vent piece (seen on the left of image 3). I decided that it should have the same function/purpose as the other side - ie. cabin air. The current set up utilises a bowden cable which will run to the RV10 air scoop to provide cooling to the body of the pilot (the same set up will be mirrored on the co-pilot side as well) whereas the eyeball vent will provide cooling to the face of the occupant. The current set up does not appear to interfere with the knees/legs of the occupant and nicely breaks the existing straight line of the instrument panel. |
