Started Assembling Flap Actuator System/Channel |
|
|
I started putting together all the parts for the flap actuator system. I had to use the 12V battery in my car to run the motor arm out halfway as instructed, then gathered the necessary hardware to put everything together in the fuselage. I reinstalled the actuator arm and attached the actuator to the arm clevis and installed the actuator cover. The F-766B motor bracket still needs to be match-drilled to the channel with everything installed. Unfortunately, I had inadvertently drilled the wrong size hole for the bolt in the F-766C plate after riveting (actually drilled the bolt clearance hole all the way through the channel AND the plate), so I had to drill it back out and make another one from some angle scrap, then prime and prep for riveting again. |
