Brief Description:    Started Left Elevator
I started working on the left elevator by bending the skin using the wooden brake I had constructed. The skin itself already had the stiffeners attached as well as the trim reinforcement plate, all of which I had done while assembling the right elevator.

I drilled the left counterweight holes as instructed, but one hole ended up too close to the rib web, so I redrilled a new hole to attach the counterweight later. I'll just fill the bad hole with epoxy and sand while finishing.

I then assembled and drilled the skeleton. I match drilled all holes and then disassembled everything and deburred all the holes.
