Edging and Deburring! |
|
|
Edged and deburred all day. SLOW process. Putting the Facet edges on the ribs to help the cosmetics of the skin is a slow, tedious process. But it was a chance to closely inspect every part. I sent 3 questions to Vans: 1) Hole clearance on each HS00005 rib (one hole each) is low. 2) One hole has a slight figure 8 from a #30 and #40 overlapping during match drilling. 3) One dimple in HS714 is a little oversized as previously mentioned. What should I do for each scenario??? It's time to prime and rivet, so I need to decide and take action now or move on... Waiting for Van's reply, but will start cleaning and priming all "good" parts next. UPDATE: Bought new parts. Redrilled and countersunk. MUCH better! |
