I decided to make the flap motor assembly removable by installing a molex connector and attaching it to the inner rib. This will keep the cable assy clear of the elev pushrod. I made a bracket to hold the molex connector in place and then used nutplates to attach it to the rib. I then installed the molex connectors and tie araped everything in place. The installation looks very clean. |
