25th flight Today I spent a few hours determining what the values for Vy (Best Rate of Climb), Vx (Best Angle of Climb) and Vso (stall speed full flaps) are. To find the climb rates, I had to keep climbing and diving to see what seemed to work the best, and it sure wasn’t anything scientific, but 70 MPH seemed to be the best for rate of climb and 65 for best angle of climb. As for the stall speed at full flaps (something I’ll rarely use) I found that she wanted to stall right around 40 MPH. After that was done I attempted to set the angle of attack in the EFIS, but I must still be doing something wrong as it’s not working properly.
