Brief Description:    Interior
Finally got back to working on the interior. I finished the seat and wasn't very happy with the result, until I tried it in the plane. Most of the things that I screwed up on were invisible, so I think I'm gonna go with the seat as it is for now. Maybe I'll upgrade it later??

Yesterday and today I finished the side panels and installed them. They made the screw ups on the cushion even harder to see. I glued 1/2" foam to some 1/4" light paneling and covered the panels with the same material as I did the cushion. The side panels are screwed to angles I bolted to the longerons with nut plates (love those nut plates) and it turned out pretty good. I thought about putting 'pockets' in the side panels, but figured they would get in the way of the arms for the (now) flip back canopy - which I'll start working on soon.

As you can see, I still have to sew the boots for around the sticks. I made one (unsuccessful) attempt so far. Still not sure how to do this...but I'll figure it out eventually.

I plan to install thin aluminum channels behind the side panels that extend forward of the side panels to cover up all the wires that run from the panel to the wings and to the rear of the plane. I hate seeing wires.
