Brief Description:    Gear leg fairing
Got tired of all the sewing and tinkering around with the Simulator software for the Enigma, so I thought I'd go do some work with aluminum instead. So I measured and cut out the .025 aluminum for the gear leg fairings. Then I quickly screwed some 2x4s together so I could use clamps (and a hammer) to bend the fairings into the correct shape. I used a piece of pipe I had laying around that was the right size and used clamps and the hammer to draw the aluminum and pipe between the 2x4s, bending the aluminum to shape.

Image 1 shows the fairing pulled between the 2x4s and the hinge pin is installed. This worked pretty well; the bend is nice and even and there are no kinks. Now I just have to do the other fairing.
