Brief Description:    Mount throttle and dial a trim
Tonight I fabricated a Throttle/Dial-a-Trim/Mixture mount out of 3 x 3 x 8" angle. The angle gets mounted to the bottom of the panel brace, flush with the panel. I like how it fits, I can easily reach the flap and brake handles, adjusting the throttle and dial-a-trim is easy, and I have plenty of room to install the mixture control whenever I get that.

There are a few things that may be problems, however. First of all, the panel and cross brace are not that still and they twist as I adjust the throttle, so I'll probably have to install a angle to the back of the cross brace all the way across the cockpit.

As you can plainly see in the third picture, the back end of the dial-a trim is too high and will interfere with the installation of the Enigma. To fix this, I think I'll just install a wedge between the angle and the dial-a-trim so it gets fastened at an angle. I think installing the dial-a-trim at a slight angle shouldn't be an issue.
