Completed all the parts for the rudder and assembled the rudder. Riveted the drive horn, forward and aft ribs and the angle together. Screwed up the angle and had to re-do it. It was the first time using the air riveter from Harbor Freight - really works slick. It was also very nice to actually color in my first square on the built tree. Only about 100 to go. Started polishing the rudder using Nuvite and discovered that polishing really sucks. Perhaps when I've figured out how to do it better it won't be so bad - but so far yuk! I thinkI put on too much Nuvite. |
