Sport Pilot license. Purchased Sport Pilot Prepware software and the Sport Pilot Checkride book and DVD combo from Adventure Production Stores (online). Also purchased USB rudder pedals that will work with the Microsoft Flight Simulator I have. I figured I could use the simulator to ‘train’ my hands and feet to work like I want to when not in the plane, even if the simulator does not accurately represent an actual plane. Thought that if the flight simulator saved me just a single lesson it would pay for itself. Besides, it gives me something to do when I’m too tired to work on the plane.
