Completed all the wing ribs. Building these ribs was pretty straight forward. Used the offset hand seamer to bend the gussets - worked pretty well and was easy. The only issue I had with the ribs, was when I riveted the gussets to ribs 1 through 5 I put the rivets through the rib, then through the gussets. When I riveted the ribs to the main spar, these rivets were in the way. I should have installed the rivets for the gussets the other direction, See the picture below: |
