Before removing canopy frame and forward fuselage skin, I decided to do all the pre-drilling, dimpling and countersinking on the upper cowl hinge, .032 spacer, firewall and forward fuselage skin. Having accomplished this and storing the prepared hinge for now, I removed the canopy frame, canopy skin and forward skin
