Trailing edges on elevators and rudder |
|
|
Today was a short work day. My friend and fellow RVer came over to help me rivet the trailing edges on the elevators and the rudder. Thanks Paul ! Empannage is mostly done except the fiberglass work and counterbalance weights installation. Trim tab hinge also still needs to be installed on the left elevator. At least I can see the end coming soon on the empannage construction. Leave tomorrow to pick up Quick Buiild Wing and Fuselage kits from a fellow in WY. These two kits will definitely keep me busy for the winter - and then some. I have attached two photos of yesterday's Experimental Aircraft Assoc, Chapter 326, annual"Burger Burn" and potluck. The burgers were not burned, though. Fun day eating and looking a what others are or have been producing in Experimental aircraft. |
