I purchased a new Makita Battery powered drop saw and wanted to see how it would go, so I used it to construct the HS nose rib cradles. I used the packing crate wood to make the parts and some aluminium angle that I had in the junk box. Results were pretty good. I highly recommend the saw. The Batteries though are a bit on the expensive side...
