Brief Description:	VS Static Bonding Strap
I am planning to include Static Wicks on the empennage and wings. In order for them to be of use, a good eletrical bond is required between the VS and Rudder, HS and Elevators, Wings and Ailerons... I added a bonding point for a bonding strap this afternoon. Each bonding point consists of: - K1000-8 6-32 Nutplate for the attachment point - AN9606416 Washer - AN515-8R8 round head screw The actual connection will be Amp connectors with bonding strap between them. I did a practice version before commencing on the spar. My first Nutplate... All the details are written on the back so that when I have to do it again in 2 months, I can remember everything. While I could have put it closer to the hinge bracket, or even on the bracket, I was very neervous about messing something up. Bottom line is I should have done it before riveting up the spar. When I do the Rudder end, I will make it as close as possible to ensure that I can get the actual strap through the aerodynamic fairing hole without having to widen it. Thats the theory anyway.
