The First task was to complete the paint job. Ryan and I have completed the painting of the Garage/Workshop. For the roof we used ceiling white, and for the walls, semigloss white over the besser block. I should have redone the pointing first, but it is only a garage... The floor is dark green. The white walls and ceiling make a substantial difference to the lighting levels everywhere. Where in the past I had to turn on a set of workshop lights, now I rarely need them. (Until I am looking for a rivet on the floor that is...) The second task is to complete the fitout with a wall bench, a floating work station with Linisher/Grinder, Scotchbrite wheels in a cheep grinder and a cheap band saw. I have completed the Wall bench which is 2.4 meters long 600 wide and about 900 off the ground. It has a storage shelf underneath which should come in handy. I also added some ply sheet to my Triton Wood store shelves to make them a bit more useful. Photo is a recent one).
