Tech Review - VS |
|
|
I drove down to Camden today to meet up with Ken Garland in order to complete a final review of the Verrtical Stabiliser before it is finally riveted. He completed an internal inspection and gave my work to date a clean bill of health. Next task is to finish the VOR antenna connection and then do the final riveting. I am currently waiting on an order from Stein Air containing some RG400 50Ohm coaxial cable. I am also looking at whethwe I should just use a conduit. The difficulty there is that I cant run it through the rib in the same way as I have done for the nose rib as the VOR puck needs to sit on the rib itself, so it is not possible to have a 1/4" protrusion underneath the puck. I am going to solve this over the next couple of days so that I can get the Vertical Stabiliser completed. |
