trimming the elevator horn doubler was difficult with snips..its about at the limit for thickness. once done, i clamped it to the upper horn, and located the lower horn which i clamped as well. i made sure the location of the hole was offset 10 mm from the center of the piano hinge. Once located, i traced the outline of the lower horn, removed it and predrilled it, and then replaced it and drilled it to the elevator
