first cut the sides of the part...was difficult because of the thicker aluminum. filed the sides to achieve the proper radius in the curve...this tool a while. cut the notch for the elevator cable...this tool a little longer filing to get the proper radius ensured approximately 3mm clearance to the height of the side flange (note..what is the tolerance of approximately?)
