I found the easiest way to get the floor shape right was to make a template from a cut up cardboard box. There was some shaping in the corners to go around the cluster joins as well as the forward attach point of the control column. Traced onto a sheet of .016" 2024-T3 aluminium which is then cut and drilled before tinnerman nuts and screws secure it to the welded tabs. Cut outs will be made for the rudder peal stubs shortly.
