Enough heat from the Henrob torch using the number 3 tip to soften the tubing but not enough to melt it. Much happier with my welding technique and joins today. I need the bottom of the tail post to be 16-3/8" above the horizontal so the total distance above the table has to be 16-3/8" + 1-3/4" = 18-1/4"
