The design is similar to Joe Spencer's and does differ from what I first envisaged. The timber jig has done the job well as I removed and welded some inside joins before bolting the mount back on and re-measuring before welding in the first of 2 diagonals. Lots of fine cutting and grinding to have the joins perfect before tack welding. Welded up the finished mount weighs 2.4lbs.
