The pleated fabric is heated and glued before being trimmed even with a hobby scalpel then the entire surface gets the heat gun treatment at 190C. Tight as a drum! The ends are finished off with a fabric covering which is trimmed to the edges and heat shrunk on. Holes for hinges/bolts are made with a soldering iron which is precise and also seals the fabric preventing possible tears. |
