This morning I snuck away from my desk, which is about 10' from the bench on which the uncompleted flap lay, compelled to finished riveting the top and bottom flanges of the flap spar to the skins. Had to drive the top row, due to the top skin overhang, but was able to squeeze the bottom row that also went through the flap hinge. I departed from the plans on this operation; the plans called for -4 rivets, but that looked a little short to me, so I used the -4.5 rivets, which looked much better. I did squeeze one -4 rivet near the middle, and the shop head was a little thin, the others look much better.
