Over the last couple of days I have been doing the disassemble, deburr, & dimple routine on the left aileron assembly, and assembling the right aileron initially for match drilling. Today I put the right aileron on the back table after getting it all clecoed together, prior to drilling out all the holes. Then I started final assembly on the left one. Our Beautiful Granddaughter Stephanie is staying with us a couple of days, and I want to give her the opportunity to drive some more rivets. The top row of rivets on the aileron takes long arms and small hands to reach in between the top and bottom trailing edge skins, perfect for her. She had long gone to bed before I had it ready to start riveting, as I have to work in a little business type work from time to time, so we will have to rivet tomorrow.
