Brief Description:    Testing the left fuel tank
This evening I decided that trepidation was no longer to be a hindrance, and hooked up the tubing, put in the fuel filler cap, capped the fuel pickup tube fitting, and installed the Schrader valve in the sump drain outlet. After placing water in the tubing, I pressurized the tank to about 28" of water column, about 1 psi, and waited. Initially there was a slow but visible drop in the water level, so I remembered that I had not tightened the flare nut on the vent line, so tightened that and the leak apparently stopped. The next morning, the water level was down about 1/2"; 48 hours later it was down about 3". That represents about 0.15 cubic inches, which is pretty slow. I think I will tighten the fittings a little more, and put duct tape over the filler cap, to see if that will stop it completely.
