Brief Description:	Installed Flange Bushing in Rudder Torque Tube
Since the Flange Bushing for the Rudder Torque Tube was not a "tight" fit, I chose to use Loctite to hold the bushing in place. I'm not sure if the Loctite was necessary, but I decided that if the design was not such that the Flange Bushing was "automatically" held in place, the Loctite would guarantee that the Flange Bushing would not fall out. I called Loctite technical support and they suggested Loctite 603 for holding an "oil-impregnated" bronze bushing in steel. The Loctite 603 is designed to be used for retention of bushings, especially if "oily". I applied the Loctite and inserted the bushing before I primed the Rudder Torque Tube. This guaranteed that the bushing would be against bare steel and would allow the Loctite to "grab". After a 24-hour period for the Loctite to "dry", I masked both sides of the Flange Bushing prior to spraying the Torque Tube with primer. I primed the torque tube with Tempo A880 Self-Etch Primer (in a rattle-can).
