I wasn't happy with the way the canopy was loaded up against the weld so I removed the side skirts and a couple of the screws on the rear bow to sand down the edge in the area of the weld. I tested it by placing a piece of paper over the weld and then pushing the canopy up against the frame and pulling the paper to make sure it wasn't pinching at the weld. Then I put it all back together.
