Next step was to install the mega pull rivets (BSPQ-5-4). Note the directions call out for a BSPQ-5-2, but the inventory sheet and the rivets included were the BSPQ-5-4. I also check out all the comments on the VANS air force web site and saw that many were having trouble with the mandrel snapping off proud of the rivet head, so I tried all the techniques, but still ended up with the mandrel sticking out. I even used my new cherry G-28 puller. I used the dremmel to grind down the mandrels most of the way and finished with a small fine file and 400 grit sand paper.
