RH flap is going faster and easier than LH flap. Van's says it's a piece of cake, but LH flap construction has been the longer, most frustrating and difficult control surface during the entire build. Instructions are so vague they basically say: Build a flap, use DWG 14B as a reference. Today I did the repetitive task of deburring all holes and edges of FL-706A, FL-706B, Piano Hinge, FL-803PP-1-R Spar, FL-705 and FL-704 ribs, FL-802PP-1-R bottom skin, and FL-801PP-1-R top skin. Then began dimpling RH Flap ribs, spar, and skin.
