I edge finished the skins of the rudder. Fit the aex wedge and edge finished the trailing edge. Completed dimpling. Drilled 3 aft holes on top of the rudder to 30 and dimpled those since it will not have enough clearance to do later. I had a hard time figuring out how to dimple the narrow section of the ribs. I ended up using a countersunk piece of steel, the rivet gun, and a rivet to form them. That worked great as oppesed to the pop rivet dimpler which just breaks nails. |
