Once the Empennage was removed from the fuselage, I once again had easy access to finish off some detail work. There is a trim piece that fits underneath the HS which requires the skin & longeron to be countersunk and the longeron tapped for 6x32 screws. For the access panels, there are three screws at the top to get the same treatment. Not to mention the nut-plates in the skin for these access panels. It would have made things a bit easier if the four nut-plates (each side) were installed on the skin prior to riveting the skin to the fuselage. Not a big deal, just a minor detail.
